Food provided by local restaurants, live entertainment by Jersey City musicians, activities for children and adults, pet-friendly stations with dog treats, “design your park” templates, and voter registration tables. Musicians appearing include Carol Lester & the World Women Ensemble, Segunda Quimbaba, Inner Gypsy, Tara Thierry, Glen Coleman, Karen Davis, Eva Octavia Brooks and Christopher Hills of Evergreen, and Exit Zero. This event marks the first step in restoring the neighborhood’s historic center as a combined urban oasis, children’s play area, and historic Revolutionary War Battle site.
