LOCAL CHILD SAFETY AND PROTECTION FESTIVAL SPONSORED BY NEW YORK LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY TO BE HELD ON: JUNE 14TH 2008

WHAT:New York Life Insurance Company will host a free Child Safety Festival at THE LIBERTY SCIENCE CENTER offering fun activities to parents and children while teaching important lessons about how to stay safe at home, at play and in the community.

This event will feature a host of safety-related activities that are age-appropriate; including demonstrations by Jersey City Fire Department, the Jersey City Police Department, and a variety of other community organizations.

All children who attend will receive a complimentary Identification Card, complete with photograph and fingerprints.

The event, sponsored by the New York Life Insurance Company, is free and open to the public.

WHO: Parents who are concerned about the safety of their children and want to take action to protect their children should bring their families to this important event

WHY:Child safety is one of the primary concerns of parents today. According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), as many as one million children are reported missing every year. This festival will provide important safety lessons to ensure a happier, safer environment for children of the community.
